TOP 5 THE CREEPIEST HORROR FILMS
Hello Readers! Do you like horror or maybe thriller? Some of you must like horror right? That can only mean one thing is time for a new horror movie list for your nightmare pleasures! Lol :D For this time I would like to show you with the top 5 of the creepiest horror films based on The Women Shadows you should know.
1. THE CONJURING
The Conjuring is a supernatural film that told about paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren work to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in their farmhouse. This film is also a high class horror film, it is hard not to be scared by it, we care for the characters and the story is compelling enough to make you feel interested the whole time. For paranormal experience lover, you should watch this film because these films are based on true life events. Ed and Lorraine Warren are paranormal investigators set to help a family terrorized by demon, said to be one of the most terrifying cases of their lives which they hadn’t shared with anyone. This film is easily one of the scariest films of the decade, complete with a horror package that will make even those new to horror love it. The film isn’t actually trying to give newer scares.
2. THE EXORCIST (1973)
The Exorcist can be called one of the most successful horror films ever made, both in terms of commercial and criticism. This movie tells about a 12 year-old girl who possessed by a mysterious entity, her mother seeks the help of two priests to save her. This story begins with Pastor Merrin (Max von Sydow) who carried out ancient artifacts in the Nineveh region of Iraq .In the excavation, he managed to find ancient statues of the demon Pazuzu from the Babylonian mythology, the form of a demon that he had previously defeated. Meanwhile, in Georgetown, a famous actress named Chris MacNeil (EllenBurstyn) had to face the fact that her only daughter, Regan (Linda Blair) experienced strange events that could not be explained by reason.
The doctor initially diagnosed that Regan had a neurological disorder. But then his mother denied it, because Regan showed more that her psychology was disturbed, one of which was by saying dirty words. Even more surprising, the director and friend of Chris, Burke Dennings (Jack Mac Gowran) was killed from the room where Regan is located. This then attracts the attention of detective lieutenant Kinderman (Lee J. Cobb) to investigate Burke's unnatural death. For various suggestions, Chris also asked the help of priest Damien (Jason Miller) to help heal Regan in a supernatural way.
The film that is always included in the scariest movie list of all time does indeed provide proof that this film is really scary. One of the key factors that makes The Exorcists of frightening is of course the mixing off acts about demonic possession that really happened decades before.
3. THE NUN
As someone who likes The Conjuring 1 and 2 (although the second Conjuring in my opinion is not scary), I joined the majority of the people who are waiting for The Nun. This film is about a priest with a haunted past and a novice on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate the death of a young nun in Romania and confront a malevolent force in the form of demonic nun. This film is also tells about horror tragedy caused by a devil named Valak. With a rural background in the western part of Romania in 1952 where there was a castle which was later made a monastery and was inhabited by several nuns who were assigned to keep the evil saitoner Valak from leaving this castle. Formerly this Valak was sealed in the castle. But, because there was a bomb during the Second World War that hit the castle, the seal came off. I think you should watch this film.
4. INSIDIOUS (2010)
The film Insidious has done something many horror movies have failed to do recently, and that is to be scary. Insidious has lot really intense moments that scare, and then grab hold of you. It’s not entirely made up of “make up jump” scenes, which it does have, but scenes with genuine horror. Insidious has taken a risk with doing something original, and it works her for them. Without giving. When I first saw a preview for this movie, I knew it looked like it had potential. I went into it expecting some scares but nothing too bad. It was wrong. This movie scared me out of my wits. I don’t think I have ever jumped more during any other scary movie. At the beginning of the film, a shadowy old woman is seen inside a house while the inhabitants sleep. Renai and Josh Lambert have recently moved into a new home with their three children. One morning, Renai looks through a family photo album with her son, Dalton, who asks why there are no pictures of Josh when he was a child. Renai reasons that he has always been camera shy and disliked taking photos of himself. One evening, Dalton sees the attic door open and goes to investigate after hearing sounds upstairs. As he enters inside, he tries to climb a ladder to turn on the light, but falls when the ladder cracks. As he falls to the floor, he seems to stare in horror at the darkness as if looking at something terrifying. And that’s where the story begins.
5. ANNABELLE (2014)
Annabelle when first seen the trailers wasn’t sure if was going to a good movie on its own. But I was wrong. Don’t know how many times I jumped in my seat watching this movie and some of the reactions it was getting from other people in the crowd. It really keeps up the scares and frights and tries to keep them at a good pace throughout the movie. This movie tells about John (Ward Horton) and Mia (Annabelle Wallis), a couple who were recently married. They are waiting for their first child. Mia have desire to get antique dolls that are sold limited. As a pregnancy gift, John managed to get the doll. Mia was happy and placed the doll in the form of the bride’s child in the child’s room.
One day, there was a riot in their neighbor’s house. Two members of the satanic cult killed Mia and John’s neighbors. Aware o the danger, he called the police. Sure enough, after they neighbors, the sect members also attacked Mia’s family. One of the sect members named Annabelle, tried to grab the doll that Mia just got.
Fortunately before Annabelle and the other members managed to injure Mia and John, the police had arrived. Before being arrested, Annabelle committed suicide. The blood that came out of her body entered the doll Mia had captured. After that incident, Mia and John decide to throw away the dolls and move to the apartment. When they were cleaning up, they suddenly found a doll that they had thrown away in a box. Since then, mystical terror began to haunt Mia and John, including their already born children.
